introductions and first impressions are important. This video is to provide an professional introduction of your self to demonstrate your creativity, imagination, and professional values to other design professionals and visitors to your website.
What
Create a video that is less than a minute from a variety of content. You are not required to use images of yourself or a voice over.... Be creative and expressive.
Format the video in the following timeline (present, past, future):
- 3 images, three words, and a short video clip about the present (current) right now you.
- 3 images, three words, and a short video clip about the past you.
- 3 images, three words, and a short video clip about the future you.

1. Set up your lynda.com account and watch the following tutorial to assist in understanding how to use the software as part of making and publishing your video:

2. Review videos on Vimeo for inspiration.
3. Create an entry in your sketch book and rough out some ideas for the video in a story board format.
4. Create your video in either iMovie or Windows Movie Maker.
5. Create a free account on Vimeo and post your work.
6. Embed your video as a blog entry and in your about section of your website and as a blog post with an image from your sketchbook. Create e brief written statement on the approach you took with the creation of your video.
7. Create a category "introductory Video" for your blog entry.
8. imbed your video in your about page.
Submission
Create PDF of the blog entry and submit on blackboard for points.
Team Points
Write a brief review of one or two of your peers videos in their comments box of their video post. Find a video on vimeo or other website to use as a reference for the review. Use the referenced video or website to describe accolades, insights or areas of improvement within their own video. Print to PDF your comments from the web and submit to blackboard to earn experience points.
